Pets Love Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a non-invasive procedure that simultaneously heals and provides pain management. Clinical studies have proven it to be a safe, fast, and effective treatment for chronic or acute pain for surgical patients. The Pets Place Animal Hospital began using cold laser therapy in late 2015 and we’ve witnessed amazing results.

What happens during cold laser therapy?

The cold laser’s beam of light stimulates damaged cells to promote speedier cell regrowth and encourages the injured area to absorb nutrients and produce new cells. Most pets find laser therapy relaxing because it offers immediate pain relief and reduces inflammation for hours after the treatment is conducted.

What does cold laser therapy treat?

Many pets can benefit from laser therapy because there are so many ways it can be used. Cold laser therapy has effectively treated the following ailments:

  • Injuries to ligaments & tendons
  • Arthritis
  • Bone fractures
  • Lesions
  • Abrasions
  • Suture sites
  • Incision sites
  • Nerve injuries
  • Acute pain

Do all vet clinics offer laser therapy?

Only specially equipped clinics can offer laser therapy. The Pets Place Animal Hospital is just one of two clinics in the surrounding area that can offer this fantastic treatment.

Make an appointment if you think that your pet could benefit from laser therapy.

Everyone at the Pets Place are friendly, professional and take excellent care of my pet and me! I’ve also boarded my dog there; she was a happy & well taken care of. I was completely comfortable leaving her there for over 2 weeks. Dr. B explains everything clearly and takes the time necessary for the pet and owner."
